Let's look at each step more closely:
1) Evaluation ("You can't improve what you don't measure")
The first step is a comprehensive evaluation, testing and measuring your flexibility, strength, cardiovascular endurance, weight, and nutritional habits. By measuring these key components of health, we will be able to develop a comprehensive understanding as to your current state of health.
2) Short and Long Term Goals
What do we want to accomplish? How long should it take? Which goals will we attain first? Your goals become the focus of our relationship and are therefore clearly defined, on paper, and both realistic and achievable.
3) Exercise and Nutrition Plan
This is the roadmap with which we will achieve your goals. The plan is individually tailored to meet your specific goals as defined in step #2. It may consist of a daily fitness log as well as strategies for healthy eating.
4) Assist
With weekly visits, we work through your daily exercise regimen. This not only helps you remember and maintain proper form during your daily exercises, but also helps you rededicate yourself to your commitment towards obtaining those goals. This is crucial since it prevents you from slipping back into previous habits and helps solidify the creation of new habits.
5) Monitor
Through monitoring, we are able to measure your progress along the way. We periodically retest and measure you against your goals so as to know where to refocus our efforts.
